The ISF and Leisure Leagues are delighted to announce the continuation of our partnership with AXIWI, the wireless communication business that are the exclusive suppliers of communication kits for the ISF Elite Referee Group. AXIWI kits were used by our referees at our World Cup in Crete in 2019 and were a proven success.

This enhanced partnership will also allow spectators at the stadium and viewers at home on TV to listen to the conversations and communications between the match officials on all World Cup games.

Leisure Leagues Business Development Director, Martin Cassidy highlighted the practical benefits of the technology, both to players and spectators, saying: “This gives everyone a unique insight into how our World Cup match officials manage games during a game at a World Cup Tournament, something that has never been done before.”

The Leisure Leagues powered 6 a side World Cup on the beautiful Caribbean Island of Cozumel in Mexico 2022 is shaping up to be our best event yet with 40 teams from all over the World competing to be 6 a side World Champion and trying to topple Russia who were victorious in Crete.
