WORLD CUP BALL HITS THE BACK OF THE NET

There are just 147 days to go before the start of the World Cup in Crete. 32 nations battling it out to see who can be crowned Kings of the World.

Preparations amongst the UK teams are really stepping up. Recently we saw the Home Nations won by England, but although they won the tournament under new manager Jamie Leggett, although there was promising signs from Graham Finlay’s Scotland and Barry John’s Wales.

As the excitement builds, we will have much more from thorough out the world, but right now, we are delighted to reveal the World Cup Ball!

The International Socca Federation is delighted  this afternoon to announce a fantastic ball sponsorship deal with the world class football brand Umbro. All of the Match Balls for our Socca World Cup in Crete this October will be the Umbro Neo Professional ball. This FIFA Quality Pro match ball is a 14 panel hand stitched Ball of the highest quality ensuring all players will have a world class ball at their feet during our world class event.

Sponsorship Director Martin Cassidy admitted he was thrilled to have such a brand on board, adding: “A world class event like this needs a world class ball – and we have one.

“This along with the other deals we’ve previously announced, will enable Crete 2019 to build on the marvellous success of the Lisbon event.”
